PMI(Positive Material Identification)
The Innov-X Handheld Alloy Analyzer provides fast chemistry and grade match for a wide range of stainless, Cr/Moly steels, low alloy steels and high temperature alloys.

Scrap Metal
The Innov-X XRF rapidly sorts high temps, red metals, titanium alloys, many aluminum alloys, precious metals and exotics. It is the choice of many scrap metal dealers and processors. It provides fast, reliable alloy chemistry and grade match.

Quality Control
The Innov-X XRF is ideal for fast verification of incoming and outgoing alloy materials. It displays chemistry and grade match within seconds. It also displays a “goodness to match” and can show engineering grade specifications if out of spec elements or tramp elements are identified.

BioMed
In biomedical applications many implants are cobalt alloys (typically F-75 type chemistry) where maintaining tramp iron concentration to below 0.2–0.3% is essential. Or, verification of titanium alloy grade is important. The Innov-X Handheld XRF offers excellent alloy verification for all these applications.

Pharmaceutical
Many pharmaceutical operations specify specialty alloys as part of their process. The most common case is stainless grade 316 instead of 304.
