The 971 is an advanced handheld particle counter featuring six different particle size channels and a large color LCD display.
With six individual particle size channels, datalogging, and a large color display capable of displaying data in either tabular or graph formats, the Fluke 985 is a fully featured particle counter you can hold in your hand. Six channels simultaneously count and categorize particles ranging from 0.3 to 10 µm allowing accurate measurements even under strict regulations. Easy to use controls, long battery life, no nonsense data transferring capabilities, and detailed on screen data displays allow you to work more efficiently and save time. Fluke handheld particle counters have been the choice of indoor air quality and HVAC professionals for many years to locate sources for remediation, monitor cleanrooms, check the efficiency of filters, and perform various indoor air quality tasks. The expanded feature set available with the Fluke 985 particle counter allow you to perform these tasks while easily analyzing data anywhere and at anytime.
The Fluke 985 is the suggested replacement for the 983 particle counter.
Meeting ISO 21501 and JIS B9441 standards, the Fluke 985 features six individual particle size channels consisting of 10, 5, 2, 1, 0.5, and 0.3 µm. Air is sampled by an internal pump and particles can be counted in either cumulative mode, differential mode, raw mode, or as particles per volume. Every 985 comes standard with a NIST traceable calibration.
The Fluke 985 includes the industries most convenient datalogging options. 10,000 records can be stored in the instrument and easily transfered to a PC via 3 different options, none of which require any specialized software or drivers. When the Fluke 985's USB port is connected to a PC, or any device that can read a USB thumdrive, the instrument's data storage is recognized as a removable disk allow data to simply be dragged and dropped from the instrument. Additionally, if a PC isn't immediately available data can be downloaded directly from the instrument unto a USB thumbdrive. The third option is a built in ethernet interface which allows you to connect the 985 to your network and download data using a web browser.
A complete accessory kit is included with every Fluke 985 including a hard transport case, charging/download cradle, and accessories to perform all available functions. The built in rechargeabl Li-Ion battery provides an ample 10 hours of runtime, enough to last an entire workday. The included chargine cradle ensures the Fluke 985 is always ready.
