Gastec M8 chemical warfare agent detection paper is an inexpensive solution to on the spot screening for the presence of liquid G, V, and H chemical warfare agents.

Gastec M8 chemical warfare agent detection papers provide inexpensive, on the spot, confirmation for the presence of liquid G and V nerve agents and H blister agents. Using M8 detection paper simply consists of blotting the paper (using tweezers) to absorb some of the suspected substance, similiar to litmus paper.

Positive results should always be followed by more extensive testing methods.

In the presence of chemical warfare agents in excess of 0.02 ml the paper will change color within 30 seconds. G nerve agents turn the paper yellow-gold, H blister agents red-pink, and V nerve agents dark green. Nextteq M8 chemical warfare agent detection paper has a shelf life of 5 years and is only for use by qualified and trained personnel.
